techNOlogy…

So last week my trusty Macbook Pro crashed. Logic board just went kaput. No reason. Just decided it wasn’t in the mood to work anymore.

Then my external hard drive died. No warning. Gave up the technological ghost without a warning.

Yesterday I spent 4 hours on a script. Saved it. Shut down my office-loaned laptop for a few hours. Re-opened and the document had been corrupted. Unrecoverable. Gone.

I am now officially afraid to go near the toaster.

ZARDARI HEARTS PALIN…

When Zardari met Palin: Pak prez tries to woo US Veep hopeful

He was working the “grieving widower” angle. It’s a classic pick-up strategy used in late-night bars and
post-traumatic stress disorder support groups around the world. It goes as follows:

“God I am so lonely…can you just hold me? Just for a little while…I need to…feel…”

Making out ensues.

And can you blame him? America has been making incursions into
Pakistani soverign territory all summer. This way Pakistan can make an
incursion into soverign U.S. territory right back. If by “soveriegn
territory” this time we mean “Palin’s pants” and “incursion”
means…well, you get the idea.
