um…like…sorry…

God I suck.

If you are still visiting this blog with any regularity at all then I apologize. Honestly, Britney Spears has more sane-days than I do writing-days it seems.

Basically I’ve discovered that the life of a journalist leaves little time for any other kind of life. Insane work hours and exhausting conditions mean I get home just in time to pass out.

And it’s not as if I haven’t had alot of Stand-up developments recently. Been interviewed by a bunch of places which I will link to over the next few days. Had a show after which an angry audience member lodged her protest quite vociferously.

“Some things are NOT funny,” she said.

“I disagree,” I said.

Then she lectured me on religion being an untouchable subject.

Meanwhile, in the Frontier provinces of Pakistan they have outlawed shaving and advocated marrying any female NGO workers one might come across. So I think I win that argument.

Two months into 2007 and I’ve already broken my “no corporate shows” promise. The money is too  good to pass up. As long I promise to dedicate it all to more public performances. Or so I keep convincing myself.

New promise (sure to be broken soon):

To update blog daily. Whether I have anything to say or not. Time to bust out the same OCD habits on blogging that have me arranging the four corners of my bedsheet juuuust so before I can go to sleep.

That last bit will only make sense to my wife.

Over the next few days will blog about new comedy techniques and lots of other mundane goodies sure to make you want to bleed from boredom.

Wish me luck.
